League Overview

The GFHL will be a non-profit, invite-only, four-team league.

The league will run from the week after May 2-4 weekend the second week of August and feature 60 players drafted onto four teams to ensure balanced competition. Team captains will take part in a live draft before the start of the season, with rosters finalized before opening night.

The season will include a 12-week regular season, followed by two weeks of playoffs, with all games fully refereed and played in custom team jerseys sponsored by local businesses.

All league costs will be covered through player registration and sponsorship support, with every dollar going back into ice time, officiating, and league operations. The goal is to create a competitive, well-run summer league at the cheapest possible cost.
